ResponsibilitiesCustomer Insights Analyst: Bloomingdale's, New York, NY Job Overview: Bloomingdales Customer Insights Departments mission is to interpret a rapidly changing environment and translate insights into actions that help drive Bloomingdales short and long-term business strategies. For our Analyst position, therefore, we are looking for an entrepreneurial, creative problem solver who has a fundamental curiosity about the customer and experience using insights to make an impact. Reporting to the Consumer Insights Director, this person will play a key role in supporting and leading key customer research projects. Perform other duties as assigned. _Essential Functions: _ ** **Partner with internal merchant, store, and COM teams on customer research projects that inform and guide their daily decision-making and longer-term strategies ** **Leverage Power BI, internal customer dashboards, and syndicated research tools to conduct data analyses ** **Support and lead primary customer research initiatives: - Design and field surveys that align with key business objectives - Support and lead one-on-one qualitative customer research projects, from in-person focus groups to online discussion groups - Provide in-depth analyses of key research findings ** **Create compelling PowerPoint presentations that stand out and illustrate the customer story, synthesizing insights from a variety of sources (customer research, internal data, macro trends, etc.) ** **Develop specific research plans based on ambiguous goals or agendas Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.
