We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Leadership & Learning Intern to join our dynamic team. This internship opportunity offers valuable hands-on experience in the fields of employee experience, onboarding, and learning; helping you kick-start your career in the dynamic field of Human Relations.

    MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

    As an Intern on the Brilliant University Team, you will work closely with our experienced professionals and contribute to various initiatives aimed at enhancing our team members' skills, knowledge, career growth, and experiences. Your responsibilities will include:

    Training Program Support

    • Assist in the development and implementation of training programs, both in-person and virtual..
    • Coordinate logistics for training sessions, including scheduling, venue setup, and material preparation.
    • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of training programs through surveys and feedback analysis.

    Content Development

    • Collaborate with the team to create engaging training materials, presentations, and e-learning modules.
    • Assist in updating and maintaining the content library to ensure accuracy and relevance.

    Data Analysis

    • Collect and analyze training data to identify trends, areas of improvement, and training needs.
    • Generate reports to help measure the impact of training initiatives and recommend adjustments accordingly.

    Employee Development Initiatives

    • Participate in the planning and execution of career development initiatives, mentorship programs, and workshops.
    • Support the onboarding process for new team members by facilitating/designing orientation and training sessions.

    Research and Best Practices

    • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in training, development and talent management.
    • Contribute to research projects to enhance our training methodologies.

    Administrative Tasks

    • Assist in maintaining training records and databases.
    • Provide general administrative support to the Learning & Development Team as needed.

    POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

    • Currently enrolled and pursing a degree in business, human resources, social science, communications or similar field
    • Anticipated graduation date of December 2024 - May 2025
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
    • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
    • Ability to present content In small and large group settings
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
    • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
    • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
    • Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment

    Work Environment:

    • Summer internship
    • Open to remote employees but we would love to see you in the office (Akron, OH or Dallas, TX)

    The salary range for this opportunity is $18.00-$19.50/hour . Base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other factors.
