In this role, you will join a brand new team that handles billing for our new National Council of Prescription Drug Programs (NCPDP) division. As a Claims Processor, you will be responsible for overseeing the accounts receivable process to ensure adherence to standards and performance to goals. The Billing team will ensure claims have been processed and reviewed in a timely fashion to guarantee payment for services rendered has been received. Qualified candidates must have excellent written and verbal customer service skills and advanced computer skills in order to interact with key stakeholders and patients. Key Responsibilities: * Follow up on all claims that are missing supporting documentation or pending authorizations in order to be processed. * Ensure that all dates of service and services rendered match the Explanation of Benefits (EOB) and ultimately submit the claims to payors for payment. * Determine which claims are un-billable due to missing documentation and perform adjustments on accounts as necessary. * Enter and confirm all information has been submitted correctly into the system to help make the billing process seamless for patients.
