The CVS Health Pharmacy Growth & Insights department facilitates the overall retail pharmacy portfolio to ensure that the business delivers against annual growth expectations. The cross-functional Business Insights team is focused on providing timely insights to support the business and drive retail product and pharmacy growth and improve operations. This team is an extension of the product developers and managers and have in-depth knowledge of the business to help meet product operational and revenue goals. Project work could include: · Build a business case and/or pricing model for the new product, · Analyze data from the CVS Health data warehouse to size business opportunity, build a model in Excel, prepare PowerPoint slides describing business opportunity, participate in team meetings, and engage with other internal teams including product development, marketing, and analytics. · At the end of the internship, the intern will give a presentation of their work to the team and business partners. · Intern will acquire experience in usinganalytics to support business decision making and exposure to both the PBM andretail business units Required Qualifications *Availability to work full time for duration of the 10 week program. Availability to work full time for duration of the 10 week program. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Demonstrated analytic and problem-solving skills. Has completed several college courses in statistics, research analysis, computer programming, or similar technical coursework. Preferred Qualifications - Prior experience with SAS or SQL. - Bachelor's degree with technical, research or healthcare focus. - Intermediate skills in Excel and major area of masters study in analytics, statistics, public health, economics or other research-related field. - MBA preferred but will consider qualified candidates in MPH or MS programs.
