    The intern will act as a digital product manager for Bag & Checkout product team, which oversees the product experience for the mini-bag through order confirmation on the Signet banner websites.

    The Bag & Checkout team intern will be responsible for agile product delivery and serve as the primary point of contact for cross-functional teams including business, technology, design, and analytics. The intern will oversee completion of at least one end-to-end epic beginning with discovery and ending with delivery of the epic(s) to production.

    The epics will focus on the U.K. promotion code experience in the shopping basket as well as the ability for customers to share their basket with others. Both are expected to increase customers’ confidence to start checkout and complete their purchase.

    MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

    • Intro (Week 1):
    • Discuss the work and timelines during the internship.
    • Schedule Meet & Greets with cross-functional teams and business partners.
    • Epic Discovery (Weeks 2-4)
    • Conduct independent research and partner with Epic team members (Technology, XD, Analytics, etc.), and U.K. stakeholders to define the problem/opportunity and to create the supporting business case for the epics.
    • Complete the Epic Briefs, which includes the description, problem/opportunity, solution approach, constraints, acceptance criteria, metrics, level of effort estimate and target release.
    • Epic Refinement (Weeks 5-9)
    • Work with Epic team members to further refine the acceptance criteria (A/C) that will drive solutions to the problem and opportunity defined in the Epic Briefs.
    • Prioritize acceptance criteria, define MVP, and identify phased approach (if needed) for each epic.
    • Work with Experience Design (XD) team member to create designs and review with Technology as well as the U.K. stakeholders for their insights and feedback before finalizing designs for each epic.
    • Partner with the Analytics and Tagging team to identify the Adobe tags in order to track the key performance indicators (KPIs) needed to measure success of the epics post-launch.
    • Epic/Delivery Sync (Week 10-11)
    • Review defined Epic Briefs with the Delivery team. Meet with Delivery Team Product Owner and Systems Analyst to work on User Story mapping and creation.
    • Internship Summer Presentation (Week 12)
    • Presentations on the work completed during the summer internship.
    • Throughout Internship
    • Conduct 1-on-1s with cross-functional team members, business partners, domain PMs, and cross-domain PMs to understand impacts to help aide in the epic definition and solutioning process.

    POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

    • Currently enrolled and pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Design, or a related field
    • Graduation date of May 2025 preferred
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe Analytics, and Jira
    • Working knowledge and navigation of ecommerce sites with focus on the shopping bag and checkout path
    • Understanding of user experience and design principles
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
    • Curious and analytical nature with a customer first mindset

    Work Environment:

    Remote: open to all candidates regardless of location

    The salary range for this opportunity is $18.00-$19.50/hour . Base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other factors.
