    What will a Pharmacy Nurse Consultant do every day?

    • Reviewing aspects of medication systems and training staff on the systems
    • Advising in narcotic diversion and discrepancy resolution
    • Improving the process of medication management in facilities as needed
    • Educating facilities on current policies and procedures

    Pharmacy Nurse Consultant minimum requirements will include:

    • Valid LPN or RN license required
    • Nursing experience in a clinical setting required.
    • Long-Term care, hospice, or rehabilitation experience preferred, but not required.
    • Ability to follow all safety and COVID -19 precautions
    • Valid and Insurable Driver’s License required
    • Experience using EHR systems required
    • Demonstrated active listening skills, exceptional phone etiquette and exceptional customer service skills required
    • Intermediate computer skills and passion for technology required
    • Superb written and oral communication skills required
    • Strong organizational and analytical skills required
    • Must be able to travel within your region on a daily basis, some overnight travel required
    • Must be able to actively contribute to a positive team environment and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
    • Must be a self-starter with the ability to handle multiple tasks, remain focused, work independently, and meet deadlines
    • Ability to convey a positive and professional image to supervisor and employees

    You must be reliable and have a solid work history to be seriously considered for the position. A completed pre-employment drug screen and background check will be conducted.

    This position is a salary position, hours required are those that meet our customer’s needs. Flexibility is a must, as well as planned regional travel.
