    Signets Construction Project Management Intern will have ownership and accountability for the overall management of individual major construction projects assigned, from inception to 1-year after opening.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Provide project management assistance of all major freestanding and off mall/mall projects assigned

    • Complete all tasks required to successfully construct and remodel stores on time, within approved budget and adhering to design specifications and contract documents

    • Effectively communicate project status with regards to schedule and cost expectations to all stakeholders via weekly project meetings, reporting at SP construction meetings, maintaining all reports current and proactively address risks as they are identified

    • Ensure Project tracking is always update in the system of record

    • Provide feedback to design on issues and opportunities from construction document

    • Conduct Value Engineering and implementation of cost saving measures and provide design solutions to mitigate cost and constructability problems

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Currently enrolled and pursing a degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Industrial Design or a similar field

    • Anticipated graduation range between December 2023 - December 2024

    • Proficient in Microsoft Office

    • Working knowledge and navigation of AutoCad, Photoshop, InDesign and SketchUp and a Project Management tools

    • Strong social and communication skills

    WORK ENVIRONMENT:

    • Remote: open to all candidates regardless of location

    • Part-time hours (20/week) at 6-12 months based on assignments

    The salary range for this opportunity is $18.00-$19.50/hour. Base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job related knowledge, skills and experience, among other factors.
