  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Lead cycle counts, investigate inventory variances, and ensure accurate accounting across departments.
    • Monitor inventory movements, analyze accuracy metrics, and recommend system/process improvements.
    • Maintain internal controls and optimize transaction codes in Movex for efficiency.
    • Audit receiving/shipping processes and ensure compliance with documented procedures.
    • Resolve negative balances and BOM issues; ensure proper substitution documentation.
    • Support manufacturing variance analysis and troubleshoot discrepancies.
    • Assist with annual physical inventory planning and execution.
    • Participate in LEAN initiatives to improve inventory accuracy and material flow.
    • Uphold quality standards, company values, and policy compliance.
    • Continuously develop technical skills and complete other duties as assigned.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

    • Associate degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain Management or related field preferred or 6 months of relevant experience in lieu of degree.
    • Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Excel.

    ADDITIONAL DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS

    • Basic knowledge of manufacturing (footwear industry preferred).
    • Working knowledge of LEAN manufacturing

    REQUIRED LICENSES, CERTIFICATES OR KNOWLEDGE:

    • ASCM (formerly APICS) certification a plus
