POSITION:
The intern will serve as a digital product manager for the Payments & Financing product team, which owns the end-to-end payment experience at Signet. The Payments & Financing team intern will be accountable for one end-to-end epic (strategy) beginning with discovery and ending with a feature handoff. The epic will focus on the digital wallet experience at Signet, which is supposed to enable customers to save information to their account to speed up checkout.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Discuss the work and timelines during the internship.
Conduct research and work with epic team members (technology, XD, etc.), stakeholders, and vendor partners to define the problem/opportunity and business case
Work with feature team members to define feature(s) that will drive solutions to the problem defined in the epic
Work with feature team members to create comprehensive feature brief (problem, solution, KPIs/reporting, designs, story map, etc.)
Hand off defined feature brief(s) to the delivery team. Meet with Delivery Team Product Owner and Systems analyst to work on User story mapping
Conduct 1-on-1s with cross-functional team members, Business Partners, domain PMs, and cross-domain PMs to realize impacts to help aide in the solutioning
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Currently enrolled and pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
Graduation date range of August 2023- May 2024
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Working knowledge and navigation of the digital payments space
Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Remote: open to all candidates regardless of location
Full-time (40 hours/12 weeks) Summer 2023
The salary range for this opportunity is $18.00-$19.50/hour. Base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job related knowledge, skills and experience, among other factors.
