POSITION:

A 12-week role assisting the Inventory Planning and Flexible Fulfillment teams with management of operational performance through metrics tracking and reporting. Work with both teams to identify opportunities for improved monitoring and performance tracking and assist in efforts to deploy performance improvements.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Update and execute reports that track and monitor progress supply chain operations, with a focus on inventory utilization and productivity
• Participate with supply chain operations project teams to evaluate production issues and assist in identifying and implementing potential solutions
• Participate in daily performance monitoring of store-based fulfillment activities. Evaluate operational results to identify opportunity areas and assist in identifying remedies for performance gaps
• Aid in upgrading and improving existing Flex Fulfillment performance reporting. Work with our Supply Chain Data Scientist to incorporate visualization into reporting for better readability and more impactful results.
• Participate in preparation and presentation of performance updates for supply chain operations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Currently enrolled and pursuing a degree in Supply Chain, Business, Industrial Engineering, Data Science or similar field
• Anticipated graduation date August 2023 - August 2024
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Google Analytics, SQL and Tableau is a plus but not mandatory
• Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma principals

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• This position is a hybrid opportunity in Akron, OH
• In office 50% of internship
• Full-time (40 hours/week) over Summer 2023 (12 weeks)

THE SALARY RANGE FOR THIS OPPORTUNITY IS $18.00-$19.50/HOUR

Base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job related knowledge, skills and experience, among other factors.
