POSITION:

As a Digital Technology Intern, you will work on our Digital Technology team. Digital Technology team members at Signet are responsible for implementing best practices in design, development and quality engineering. This role will be highly cross functional, partnering with supply chain, operations and customer care. In this role you will aid in technology aspects of the post order life cycle experience covering store fulfillment, distribution center (DC) fulfillment, drop-ship integrations and call centers.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design test plans, procedures, scenarios, and scripts to accurately assess new products or software updates according to customer requirements

• Collaborate with cross functional teams in supply chain and eCommerce

• Building and implementing software evaluation test plans and programs

• Track problems and resolutions throughout testing and create a comprehensive database of defects and successful mitigation techniques

• Analyze real-time product issues that are impacting internal Signet systems and customers

• Support development cycle as new features and enhancements are coded, tested, and released into production

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• Currently enrolled and pursing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineer, Supply Chain Management or related fields

• Anticipated graduation range of December 2023-May 2024

• Proficient in Java, J2EE, XML, XSLT, SQL and Database concepts

• Ability to juggle multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment

• Team player with ability to interface and build relationships at all levels

• Strong communication skills, curiosity, and collaborative nature

• Experience with any Test automation tools is a plus

• Experience with Software development, Agile methodologies is a plus

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• Remote: open to all candidates regardless of location

• Full-time (40 hours/week) Summer Semester 12 weeks

THE SALARY RANGE FOR THIS OPPORTUNITY IS $18.00-$19.50/HOUR . Base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job related knowledge, skills and experience, among other factors.
