    Prime Time Leasing was created in 1998 to fulfill a growing demand for furniture rental for corporate housing and insurance housing providers who were looking to upgrade to higher quality furniture for their sophisticated and discerning customer base. Prime Time has been able to create a customer-centric operational model that allows us to provide superior service which includes higher quality furniture and housewares.

    Prime Time Leasing has an exciting opportunity for a Distribution Center Manager / Delivery Specialist for location in Charlotte, North Carolina. We are a fast growing furniture rental company that specializes in primarily serving the Insurance, Corporate, and Relocation housing industries. This is a very unique position for the right individual as this is as much of a “working” position as it is a management position. You will be required to manage a small team of Delivery / Installers, Operational Specialists, and Housewares Specialists on a daily basis and will also be maintaining the organization of the distribution center and overseeing the upkeep and activities of the building. Our goal is to find the right individual that will embrace both the physical and managerial aspects of this job.

    Please note, before you apply, this is very much a "working" manager role. You will lead a team, route trucks, manage inventory levels, load and unload trucks, and move furniture into and out of apartments and homes.     Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    Hire, train, supervise, coach, and review all employees

    Delivering furniture as a lead driver when needed

    Pull, prepare, and put away furniture and housewares

    Properly load trucks

    Physical organization of the distribution center

    The ability to lead a Team

    Exercise safety precautions for yourself and all team members

    Manage Centralized Housewares Operation.

    Maintain compliance documents and logs on a daily basis

    Investigate all driver accidents and file proper paperwork

    Ensure that all deliveries and pickups are made promptly and efficiently

    Monitor maintenance and repairs of vehicles and delivery equipment

    Responsible for vetting, approving and submitting for payment all invoices related to operation

    Continuously review and balance inventory needs

    Coordinates daily delivery of product to customers

    Ensure all policies and procedures are followed per Prime Time Leasing’s required guidelines

    Utilize route reports as a tool to create more efficient and cost effective routing

    Accurate accounting of furniture inventory at all times (In distribution center and field)

    Ensure scheduled delivery times are adhered to for all deliveries and pickups

    Manage on-loading and off-loading of trucks in dock area

    Adhering to our Code of Business Ethics is an essential requirement for this position
