DEPARTMENT OVERVIEW:

The Human Resources organization delivers next generation strategies for engaging talented professionals with meaningful careers in grocery retail, including delivering solutions for recruiting, learning and development, talent management, compensation and benefits, associate relations and diversity and inclusion strategies. 

PRIMARY PURPOSE:

• Plays a key role in supporting the coordination and execution of diversity activities and functions in support of the overall diversity objectives.  

• Supports the Business Resource Groups, diversity communications, and community investment initiatives and partnerships. 

• Helps to manage external community organizations & partnerships, and diversity related professional organizations responsible for our sponsorships, events, and community related initiatives. 

• Interacts with internal associates and community partners when participating and coordinating diversity related events.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Working towards a degree in Human Resources, Management, Diversity, or related field.  

• Experience working in a collaborative group setting   

• Experience using analytical thinking and problem-solving skills   

• Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly, appropriately and effectively
