Overview:

As a material Intern you will assist your team in execution of the material strategy by researching and analyzing information that impacts the mill matrix, fabric consolidation, consumption, and fabric cost saving.

• Supports Material Sourcing and R&D team to drive materials goals.
• Support daily communication regarding raw materials and assist with daily activities.
• Support organization of existing and new fabrics within fabric library
• Support the costing process and execution of sourcing strategy through research, analysis, reporting, recording and data visualization.
• Shadow and learn from all levels of your team, especially the material coordinator (the role that interns are hired back as!)
• Special Projects
• Building reports and presentations
• Support and manage raw material website /Inbox
• Facilitate partnerships with Internal and External partners: Production,Sourcing Teams and Mills

• Undergraduate Junior
• Passion for and/or a background in research and analysis
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office, understand how to use features, such as pivot tables and file linking
