    Job Description

    We are looking for a CLINICAL ASSESSMENT SPECIALIST who is the front door for Eating Recovery Center (ERC), intervening for patients and inviting them into a community consisting of a full continuum of care, providing expert behavioral health and medical treatment in an environment of compassion, competence, collaboration, and integrity. CAS completes intakes and advocates for patients from crisis intervention through admission, collaboration with existing outpatient teams and the community.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Respond to clinical inquiries in a validating, timely, inclusive and comforting fashion.
    • Present Eating Recovery Center program information in a comprehensive and welcoming manner.
    • Collect complete information regarding the inquiry, including clinical, professional collaboration and insurance.
    • Intervening and advocating for patient’s at time of admission though short pre-created authorization process.
    • Demonstrate detail oriented work through the necessary documentation, communication and coordination of admission to the Eating Recovery Center community.

    EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

     

    • Master’s degree in mental health field is required.
    • Experience with assessments and admissions highly preferred

     

     REQUIRED LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION:

     

    • Licensure in a mental health field is required. Willing to consider those individuals nearing licensure.
