Emser Tile LLC, a nation-wide industry leader in the distribution of high-quality ceramic tile and natural stone seeks an experienced Warehouse Associate 2. Our 50-plus-year history of unprecedented and continuous growth has created immediate opportunities for professionals. This position is located at our local Distribution Center.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The Warehouse Associate 2 is responsible for keeping accurate inventory records for products within the Distribution Center.

QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES/EXPERIENCE) 

·        Distributes lines from JDE system to Warehouse 3 Pickers

         Completes all paperwork for outbound shipping to include BOL signatures, pallet counts, and other relevant information

         Performs line changes for Pickers if current location is unavailable

         Conducts cycle counts on a daily basis

·        Completes Transfer Discrepancy Logs and send reports confirming variances

·        Completes Aisle Audits to confirm items match system locations

·        Reworks product from damaged pallets and removes from rework status and location

·        Completes Receiving Put Away Audit (includes Count Policy all items) and reports discrepancies to receiving

·        Performs status moves and generate tickets (Stock, QA, Rework, ect.)

·        Conducts quarterly cycle counts (includes V & C items)

·        Completes 2nd counts after variance reporting is complete

·        Commits to learning, living, and promoting Emser Tile culture and values

·        Ability to accurately read and respond to non-verbal communication

·        Utilizes critical thinking, decision making, and listening

·        Excellent basic math functions (piece to square foot calculations)

·        Excellent communication skills at all organizational levels (written/verbal) and with customers

·        1-2 years of experience in an Inventory Control position

·        Bi-lingual in Spanish is a plus

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS 

Ability to work in Distribution Center environment (cold in the winter, hot in the summer)

Ability to work in loud environment

Ability to lift weight up to 80 pounds

Ability to see and hear

Ability to use hands and arms

Ability to work on a computer for short periods of time

Ability to bend and kneel

Ability to reach and stretch

Ability to use equipment to access high locations

Forklift Certification required

Regular, predictable attendance is an essential function of this job.

This is an hourly position.  The successful candidate will work a pre-determined workday but may be asked to work more based on business need.

Other tasks may be required or assigned as necessary
