    JOB DESCRIPTION

    A&F has many software engineers using best-of-breed technologies across many brands, domains, teams, and applications.  This engineer will own our custom-built platform to measure the four key DevOps metrics as defined by DORA for applications throughout the enterprise. This technologist will own and operate the DevOps Metrics platform, and partner with many software teams to determine features that improve the accuracy of the platform.  

    A background in and passion for software engineering, DevOps, and innovation is an absolute must for this technologist.  This individual should bring an optimistic, continual-improvement mindset to the team everyday.    WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

    • Build and execute new features and capabilities off DevOps Metrics platform

    • Design optimizations to improve accuracy of DevOps Metrics data

    • Interact with many software teams throughout company to learn the technical requirements they have for gathering DevOps Metrics data

    • Increase adoption and customer satisfaction of DevOps Metrics platform

    RELEVANT TECHNOLOGY

    • Java

    • Groovy

    • Apigee / API development

    • Git (GitLab Ultimate)

    • Splunk

    WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BRING?

    • 1-4 years of experience in the software engineering space

    • Advocate for software engineering excellence 

    • Demonstrated experience in agile methodologies is a plus

    • Experience with working with many diverse software teams is a plus

    • Passion for solving complex problems

    • Strong analytical skills

    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including written, verbal, and active listening skills

    • Attention to detail and flexibility in work assignments

    • Ability to work in a team-orientated, collaborative, and cross-functional environment
