SUMMARY:
The Plant Manager leads a team of people to excellence by directing and coordinating activities of the production, warehouse and yard. The position leads all production activities to achieve high levels of performance in key performance fundamentals, including Safety, quality, productivity, housekeeping, preventative maintenance, regulatory compliance, and engagement of employees.

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, construction blueprints or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public in a timely way. Ability to read and write the English language.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
REASONING ABILITY: Proven ability to lead and develop people and teams to their highest potential. Demonstrated ability to manage diverse work groups in a team environment for mutual success. Experience in developing and creating work teams who own their results for quality, safety and productivity against every challenging goal. Must possess a business and strategic acumen for continually looking down the field to seize opportunities in a high growth environment. Related management experience with knowledge of hiring, disciplinary and coaching. Skills and ability to coach and mentor professional development through performance reviews and continuous feedback toward positive results.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Regularly required to stand, walk, and use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls. Reaches with hands and arms to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Must regularly lift and/or move product in excess of 75 pounds.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently standing, sitting, stooping and reaching. May work near moving mechanical parts and equipment and is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and risk of electrical shock. Employees are regularly exposed to various outdoor temperatures related to heat and cold. The noise level in the work environment varies based upon work location including customer job sites.
