Environmental StoneWorks would like you to step into a new career with us. We are a California masonry contractor located in Sacramento CA. We primarily work with brick, block, and stone. Our customer base consists of general contractors that build commercial projects and home builders, building residential homes. Experience is not necessary. We will train the right candidate. If you can work in a construction environment with hand tools and small power equipment, then this could be opportunity you may have been looking for.
JOB ACTIVITIES:
- Mix mortar, plaster, and grout, manually or using machines, according to standard formulas.
- Erect scaffolding or other installation structures.
- Assemble temporary equipment or structures.
- Cut materials to specified sizes for installation, using power saws or tile cutters.
- Cut tile, stone, or other masonry materials.
- Modify material moving, mixing, grouting, grinding, polishing, or cleaning procedures, according to installation or material requirements.
- Transport materials, tools, or machines to installation sites, manually or using conveyance equipment.
- Help in the preparation, installation of block, brick, or stone surfaces.
- Locate and supply materials to masons for installation
- Arrange or store materials, machines, tools, or equipment.
- Clean installation surfaces, equipment, tools, work sites, or storage areas, using water, chemical solutions.
- Clean surfaces in preparation for work activities.
- Remove excess grout or residue from brick joints, using sponges or trowels.
- Remove excess materials from finished construction projects.
- Apply grout between joints of bricks, using grouting trowels.
- Clean surfaces in preparation for work activities.
