    Job Description

    The Automotive Service Technician is responsible for performing vehicle repair and maintenance work as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards.

    ** Duties and Responsibilities**

    • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and other vehicle issues using diagnostic equipment and technical expertise.
    • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various automotive systems, ensuring all work meets or exceeds industry standards.
    • Collaborate with service advisors, technicians, and other departments to prioritize and schedule repairs efficiently.
    • Document all diagnostic and repair activities accurately, including completing repair orders and maintaining detailed service records.
    • Address any issues or discrepancies promptly with appropriate team members to ensure customer satisfaction and timely service completion.
    • Stay current with the latest automotive technologies and industry trends through factory-sponsored training and continuous learning.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Buckle up! We're looking for gear-heads with 3+ years of proven Service Technician experience in a dealership or similar automotive repair setting.
    • GM brand repair experience? You're already in the fast lane!
    • Sherlock Holmes-level diagnostic and problem-solving skills required. No deerstalker cap necessary, though.
    • Must be a wizard with diagnostic equipment and tools. Wands optional, but encouraged.
    • Knowledge of automotive systems that would make even {NAME} jealous.
    • Bring your own set of tools – the more, the merrier! (We promise not to borrow them... much.)
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Think "Fast and Furious," but with less street racing and more oil changes.
    • High school diploma or equivalent. Bonus points if you aced auto shop!
    • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record. No need for speed here, folks!
    • All applicants must be authorized to work in the USA. Sorry, international super spies need not apply.
    • Must be able to pass our pre-employment obstacle course (aka background checks, MVR, drug test, and valid driver's license verification).

    Preferred Qualifications (aka "The Cherry on Top"):

    • Heavy line experience (rebuilding and replacing engines and transmissions) and/or EV know-how. Bonus points if you can turn a Prius into a monster truck!
    • EV certified / GM certified – because who doesn't love a good alphabet soup of qualifications?
    • ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certifications or Manufacturer training. The more letters after your name, the merrier!
    • 5+ years as a Service Technician. We're talking "car whisperer" level experience here.

    Additional Information

    _ ​​​​​​Compensation (Hourly: Flat Rate):_

    • _ $40.00 - 45.00 / hour +_ * Depending on experience, certifications, and qualifications

    _ Schedule:_

    • FULL TIME
