Position Description: Fanatics is seeking a part-time intern to work in the companys legal department based in Jacksonville, FL starting Spring/Summer 2018. The Legal Intern will contribute to and learn from the day-to-day operations of our in-house legal team under the guidance of multiple attorneys, including our VP Legal Affairs, Associate General Counsel, Senior Corporate Counsel, and Assistant Counsel. The Legal Intern also may have the opportunity to work with other departments within Fanatics or with other offices, in each case as part of the legal team. Responsibilities to Include: Drafting documents and correspondence for review, approval and use by attorneys; Researching legal issues and reporting results to attorneys in writing and in-person; Summarizing agreements, complaints, and other legal documents; and Supporting attorneys and paralegal on various assigned projects, including some administrative tasks. Required Skills and Abilities: Available 15-30 hours per week for at least one summer or semester (approximately 12 weeks); Proficient in Microsoft Office and online research techniques; Sound judgment, integrity, professionalism and effective communication skills; and An enthusiastic multi-tasker who enjoys handling new issues every day and who can move multiple projects forward simultaneously.
