Prioritize projects, meet multiple deadlines, and solve problems creativity. Assist in creating and maintaining a favorable public image for the company and Festival Foods brand. Job Description SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES Assist with planning and executing in-store and off-site events and promotions Assist with writing, editing, and proofreading press releases Assist with media relations, researching, scheduling, and coordinating promotions Assist with projects and PR related duties as assigned Utilize a broad range of social media platforms RELATIONSHIPS AND CONTACTS Directly reports to the Community Involvement Director Organization Relationships: Daily contact with the Community Involvement team to provide support, gain information, and work on projects. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS Junior or Senior status Pursuing a degree in Community Involvement, Business Administration, Marketing, Communication, or other related field 3 credits 10 hours a week Knowledge and ability is required in the following: Excellent written and verbal communication skills Outgoing personality Critical thinking; using logic and reasoning, ability to think, act, and speak under pressure Knowledge of social media and technology Knowledge of computer programs (Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.) Time Management; ability to manage ones own time effectively as well as the ability to manage time in order to meet required deadlines WORK ENVIRONMENT Sitting at a computer 40% of the time Bending, stretching, and occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs. is required Professional presence and proper phone etiquette is required Festival Foods serves guests in over 30 full-service, state-of-the-art supermarkets throughout Wisconsin.
