The Industrial Design Intern will gain real-world experience in industrial design, and the medical product development process. Here is a glimpse of what youll do * Be present at brainstorms, internal project reviews, and client meetings. * Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to create client-ready deliverables. * Analyze complex information to discover new design opportunities. * Explore creative solutions, test your ideas, and justify your design decisions.

• Communicate clearly, both visually and verbally. Here is some of what youll need * Internship candidates must be enrolled in a four-year accredited university, and currently be in their junior or senior year.
• You are a problem solver who focuses on the details, but doesnt lose sight of the big picture. * You show a deep understanding and appreciation for good process in your portfolio. * You have strong sketching and form development skills. * You have a working knowledge of 2D software programs vital to the design process. * Fluency in 3D surfacing is welcome, but not required. * Model-making skills are a plus (foam core, foam, rapid prototyping, etc.) Here is a glimpse of what youll experience * Be present at brainstorms, internal project reviews, and client meetings. * 3 month availability during the Summer (May - August 2018) * Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to create client-ready deliverables. * Analyze complex information to discover new design opportunities. * Explore creative solutions, test your ideas, and justify your design decisions. * Communicate clearly, both visually and verbally.
