    Job Description

    The Global Marketplace Operations Specialist will be responsible for site operations, online marketing, merchandise assortment, promotions and brand maintenance, etc. for various Global Marketplace and Ecommerce sites. The candidate will provide day-to-day management of Global Marketplaces as well as collaborate with leadership to deploy strategic initiatives across each marketplace platform. This position will be responsible for account management, content creation and deployment, promotion setup and analysis, issue resolution, etc. This role will work with agency partners to manage and oversee the business as well as with cross-functional partners to execute new and existing marketplace initiatives designed to meet revenue goals.

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • Manage the day-to-day operations of Global eCommerce marketplace activities, e.g. product uploads, reporting, inventory, fulfilment, customer service, promotional planning, etc.
    • Collaborate with the cross-functional team for assortment planning, financial analysis, marketplace pricing, global regulations, etc.
    • Report on eCommerce performance including sales, inventory, KPIs, etc.; Provide business insights and conduct deep dive analysis for market trends, regulations, and performance
    • Manage relationships with digital agencies and 3rd party marketplace vendors to meet deadlines and deliverables; Deploy strategic and tactical skills to ensure project are kept on track and on budget • Partner with internal teams to develop a go-to-market strategy to facilitate successful domestic and international marketplace expansion.
    • Manage, implement and optimize product page listings for accuracy of content, images and videos
    • Analyze customer data and feedback to drive improvements in customer experience
    • Additional duties as assigned

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, E-Commerce or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the key accountabilities of the job required
    • 4+ years progressive online merchandising, marketplace, and/or e-commerce experience required
    • Experience with Google Analytics or other digital marketing analytics providers preferred
    • Amazon Seller Central, Channel Advisor, or other Marketplace tool experience preferred
    • Total customer focus; must keep the customer at the center of everything that is done on the site
    • Understanding of performance marketing, web analytics and attribution
    • High degree of proficiency MS Office Suite, Outlook & Internet applications
    • Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management (from conception to completion), & planning skills
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills (including analysis, interpretation, & reasoning)
    • Solid understanding and application of mathematical concepts
    • Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues across the organization, as well as, internal and external clients
    • Ability to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.
    • Ability to work with and influence peers and senior management
    • Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting
