    Job Description

    POSITION SUMMARY:

    The Marketing Planning Specialist is responsible for coordinating the planning, execution and reporting of Omni-channel marketing programs. Tactics include, but not limited to, in-store, promotions, coupons, events, organic and paid digital, loyalty program, and fundraisers.

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Aid in campaign planning and brief development
    • Manage coordination of information, prioritization and detailed messaging in partnership with all relevant business partners to write creative briefs
    • Work closely with marketing channel teams to capture plan details
    • Develop and adhere to timelines in partnership with Marketing Operations
    • Review projects as part of the approval process to ensure brief alignment and creative excellence
    • Retrieve and manage data for post mortem reports
    • Collaborate with team on analysis of insights and learnings and apply to future programming
    • Coordinate agendas, meetings, calendars and post mortem documentation
    • Assist in improving the Marketing Planning process by identifying opportunities to save time and money
    • Help to identify best practices for the department and effectively collaborate and share with peers
    • Support Marketing Planning Manager with projects as needed
    • Additional duties as assigned
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the key accountabilities of the job required
    • 2+ years progressive Marketing experience preferred
    • High degree of proficiency MS Office Suite, Outlook & Internet applications
    • Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management (from conception to completion), & planning skills
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills (including analysis, interpretation, & reasoning)
    • Solid understanding and application of mathematical concepts
    • Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues across the organization, as well as, internal and external clients
    • Ability to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.
    • Ability to understand how work affects other roles in the organization and committed to finding ways to improve.
    • Ability to work with and influence peers and senior management .
    • Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting
