Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Marketing Planning Specialist is responsible for coordinating the planning, execution and reporting of Omni-channel marketing programs. Tactics include, but not limited to, in-store, promotions, coupons, events, organic and paid digital, loyalty program, and fundraisers.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Aid in campaign planning and brief development
- Manage coordination of information, prioritization and detailed messaging in partnership with all relevant business partners to write creative briefs
- Work closely with marketing channel teams to capture plan details
- Develop and adhere to timelines in partnership with Marketing Operations
- Review projects as part of the approval process to ensure brief alignment and creative excellence
- Retrieve and manage data for post mortem reports
- Collaborate with team on analysis of insights and learnings and apply to future programming
- Coordinate agendas, meetings, calendars and post mortem documentation
- Assist in improving the Marketing Planning process by identifying opportunities to save time and money
- Help to identify best practices for the department and effectively collaborate and share with peers
- Support Marketing Planning Manager with projects as needed
- Additional duties as assigned
