POSITION SUMMARY:

We are looking for an experienced Video Animator with a creative mind and diverse skillset. Candidates should have a solid understanding of storytelling and design principles with strong typography skills. Editing and video ability is a must.
Candidate will collaborate and work with creative team members ranging from copywriters and art directors to help create amazing visual stories for our brand for various outbound consumer facing campaigns. These include various promotional marketing, content and social videos. As an Animator, you will be responsible for creating highly engaging complex animations for a diverse array of media. You will be working with the design team, aiding with the creation of assets, then bringing them to life and delivering high-quality and innovative motion graphic content.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collaborate with designers, illustrators, and instructional designers.
• Create engaging complex computer animations for different media.
• Assist in the creation of animation storyboards and keyframes.
• Prepare conceptual layouts for the animation project.
• Actively participate in brainstorming sessions to come up with new design perspectives and ideas.
• Provide realistic timelines for each part of the process.
• Assist in the selection of applicable audio, graphic, special effects, 2d animation, and 3d animation styles for each project.
• Encoding, converting, editing videos, and adding effects/elements to enhance motion graphics.
• Be up to date with animation technologies and techniques, including modern trends in product design video games, and popular music to deliver cutting-edge work.
• Display authority, initiative and the ability to develop and manage all of your projects from start to finish, knowing timelines, budget and all other important communication necessary to complete the project. Keep the design process moving from start to finish. Work on multiple concurrent projects, ensuring that deliverables are achieved on time while maintaining the highest standards of quality, innovation and creativity. Work with speed and elevate timing concerns as they arise to the studio manager.
• Works with web creative group employees to ensure visual quality of all digital videos
• Help Mentor, teach, and inspire all other studio team members. Work alongside studio photographer to ensure technical requirements for an edit. Help lead and guide pre-pro calls towards best solutions and practices. Help Lead art directors vision by guiding and bringing fresh solutions

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Strong, comprehensive motion design portfolio with at least 8 years of experience.

• Bachelor’s degree in Design or a related field

• Collaborate with designers, illustrators, and instructional designers.

• Ability to shoot & edit video

• Software Fluencency:

• Video and Animation software including Adobe CC (AfterEffects) and Maxon's C4d suite of applications is preferred as the toolset in our development environment.

• Senior level mastery of Adobe Creative suite Graphic Design software (PS, AI)

• Premier 3D experience a plus
