    Job Description

    The GNC Digital Marketing team is seeking out a passionate, digital-savvy Influencer Marketing Specialist to assist with GNC’s Ambassador/Influencer program as part of the social media and digital marketing team. This role is responsible for Ambassador and Influencer efforts, from planning to implementation and analysis. You will support the development of GNC’s Ambassador and Influencer activation strategies and campaigns to build our #TeamGNC community across socials and within the digital space. You will help establish benchmarks and growth strategies for the GNC brand and our first party brands through these specific channel activations. The ideal candidate will have strong understanding of the influencer space and have a passion for social media and ideally, will have an active social media presence.

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Help brief, review and coordinate content from influencers, brand fans and content makers that make up GNC’s Ambassador Program, #TeamGNC
    • Assist with social influencer identification and management through GNC’s influencer platform
    • Assist and coordinate with media team to put paid amplification behind influencer content
    • Order and send influencer kits and product samples to influencers as needed while working within budget
    • Report out on performance and optimizations
    • Develop, grow, and actively participate in GNC's online community; engage and motivate online advocates and ensure their efforts are recognized
      • Engage with brand fans and influencers in an authentic and appropriate manor
      • Proactively identify real-time engagement and surprise & delight opportunities via platform community management and social listening
      • Monitor and engage with GNC influencers and #TeamGNC community
    • Develop and engage with Influencer communities to support communications with and amongst our strategic customer segments
    • Stay up-to-date and informed on emerging marketing platforms and trending insights to optimize the program
    • Additional duties as assigned
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, PR, or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the key accountabilities of the job required
    • 2+ years of social media or relevant experience in marketing, communications or PR preferred
    • Omni-channel retail brand marketing or social media strategy experience preferred
    • Experience in creating campaigns and utilizing multiple social platforms to build awareness, 1:1 relationships and engage new and existing customers
    • Solid understanding of how to drive consumer engagement within brand fan and ambassador networks
    • Strong strategic thinker and ability to formulate business strategy
    • Extremely savvy and knowledgeable of social media trends, content, innovations, and technology
    • Have proven experience managing communities and brand ambassadors
    • Ability to emotionally connect with brand fans and ambassadors verbally and in writing in an authentic way
    • Demonstrated passion for the Influencer, Social Media and digital content space and have a deep understanding how consumers engage with and consume content on the various platforms
    • High degree of proficiency MS Office Suite, Outlook & Internet applications
    • Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management (from conception to completion), & planning skills
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills (including analysis, interpretation, & reasoning)
    • Solid understanding and application of mathematical concepts
    • Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues across the organization, as well as, internal and external clients
    • Ability to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.
    • Ability to work with and influence peers and senior management
    • Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting

     

    Base Salary: $55,000.00 to $70,000.00 The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated salary range. The actual base salary offered for this position depends on several factors including knowledge, skills, experience, and location. Our base salary is one component of GNC’s competitive total rewards strategy.
