LOCATION San Antonio, Texas Randolph Air Force Base Full Time EMPLOYMENT TYPE Exempt PAY 0.00 - 0.00 WORK SCHEDULE PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The Total Force Service Center (TFSC) Training Specialist is responsible for developing, delivering and coordination all training for TFSC assigned team members, under the direction of Support Services Operations Manager and Program Manager. TFSC Training specialist assesses, coordinates, facilitates, and records training for phone, web/chat, email, DD FM 214 and social media channels. Essential Duties and Responsibilities 1. Using client-provided resources and internal resources, design effective training programs for TFSC employees. 2. Through adult-learning facilitation techniques, delivers training that effectively improves job performance, customer service and aids in the achievement of all Center metrics and goals. 3. Prepare and maintain training and reference materials for all areas of the TFSC. 4. Interface with clients training teams to drive consistency throughout the TFSC program. 5. Conduct needs assessments and gap analysis, and presents training recommendations to leadership. 6. Meet with business process owners on training and reference material related matters. 7. Coordinates quarterly quality calibration session between TFSC supervisors and client quality control representatives. 8. Manage new hire onboarding processes to include coordination of internal peer mentors, recording of training progress, issuing of subject assessments, and transition to operations. 9. Administer end-of-training surveys and present findings to Support Service Operations Manager and Program Manager. 10. Identifies, develops, coordinates and facilitates continuous education opportunities. 11. Maintain knowledge and capabilities in current and emerging learning technologies, theories and methods. JOB REQUIREMENTS 1. Bachelors degree in Communications, Business, Human Resources, Organization Behavior, Education, or related field; or a combination of education and experience that yields the required knowledge, skills and abilities to perform essential duties and responsibilities. 2. Minimum 2 years experience with Air Force Personnel policies and Total Force Service Center operations; military Personnel and training experience strongly preferred. 3. Strong computer skills, including MS Office applications and Learning Management Systems; instructional systems design experience a strong plus. 4. Must be able to successfully obtain and maintain government clearance. 5. Must be flexible to work multiple shifts as needed to train in call center environment.
