    Job Description

    OVERALL JOB SUMMARY: The Regional E-Commerce Controller – Americas is responsible for maximizing E-Commerce profit in the Region. This role will lead and manage the E-Commerce Sales Planner and act as an informal leader within the E-Commerce Regional team.  The Regional E-Commerce Controller will act as a partner to the Regional E-Commerce Manager - Americas, the Controlling team, and the Omni Regional team.

    This position is based in New York, NY and will report to the Regional E-Commerce Manager, with a dotted line to the Regional Controller.

    CORE RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

    Drive Profitability

    • Determine and execute on the E-Commerce budget and forecast process for your region with support from Online Central Controlling and the Regional / Country Controller teams
    • Set goals for the E-Commerce P&L (Growth Playbook, Budget, Forecast, etc.)
    • Communicate and partner with key functional stakeholders to reach P&L goals, like Logistics, Global Marketing, and Customer Service. Support E-Commerce and local Marketing teams in analyzing outcome of Performance Marketing investments
    • Analyze outcome and drive actions to reach P&L goals
    • Responsible for the E-Commerce financial results within your region

    Develop Team

    • Build eCommerce P&L experience and share best practices within Omni region and to Global Online
    • Update eCommerce region on business performance, goals and other relevant issues
    • Grow, develop, and actively manage E-Commerce Sales Planner

    Secure Operational Excellence

    • Set up pre-close meetings with key stakeholders, including Regional and Country Controllers
    • Ensure accuracy of E-Commerce P&L directly after each monthly close
    • Secure correct cost center structure and FTE mapping for central costs (salaries, travel)

    ADDITIONAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

    • Sales and Profit responsibility for 3-4 Online markets in the Americas Region as well as overview of department budget

    WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

    • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably with Finance, Business or Economics major or equivalent experience
    • 3-5 years in a business analyst or similar finance role for a retail company preferred; within H&M, previous experience as a country or central controller in an Omni market preferred
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to balance attention to detail with an appreciation for the larger strategic ramifications of business decisions
    • Sales driven, customer-focused and results-oriented
    • Proven leadership, project management, and consulting skills
    • Proven ability to achieve results working both strategically and operationally
    • Credibility to influence peers and management
    • Strong communication and presentation skills
    • Able to work independently and be self-motivated while still working within a team environment and fostering a strong team collaboration
    • Advanced knowledge of Excel, PowerBI, and Tableau
    • Strong organizational and time management skills with an ability to determine key priorities
    • Flexible and able to adapt to changes based on changing business and customer needs.
    • Required domestic and international travel up to 15% of time.

    COMPENSATION:

    Hiring Range is $125,822 - $144,699 annually**
