FUNCTIONS AND PROCESS RESPONSIBILITIES (Other duties may be assigned as necessary) Essential Functions / Process Responsibilities include the following; other duties may be assigned as necessary: Ensures the assigned vendor and SKU is monitored to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction while achieving sales, inventory, turn, and service level objectives. Provides guidance and training to lower level analysts and participates in cross-functional projects. Can effectively communicate with and/or counsel peers and other business partners as needed - Performs all functions of the Inventory Analyst I - Independently manages more complex (scope, SKU count, vendor management) category or group of categories with limited supervision - Resolves routine complex situations and escalates when needed - Advanced level of proficiency in inventory management and analysis systems - Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates departmental process - Proactively identifies and develops recommendations for resolution of simple to moderate system, process, or policy issues - Provides basic training on-boarding, and assistance to lower level Inventory Analysts Partners - Leads and/or participates in simple to moderately complex projects within or outside of the department Education and Experience preferred - Bachelor degree in Business, Merchandising, Supply Chain, Finance or other related field or comparable experience - 3 - 5 years experience in analytical capacity - 3 - 5 years experience in Forecast & Replenishment, Supply Chain, or other related areas Key Competencies preferred - Intermediate oral and written communication skills - Intermediate negotiation skills with internal and external customers - Detail oriented with strong organizational, and information gathering skills - Proactively establishes and cultivates a broad network of collaborative relationships both within and outside the organization - Advanced analytical skills - Ability to multitask - Advanced understanding of inventory management and analysis systems - Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills - Advanced HEB systems skills including but not limited to OMI, BI, JDA, XNET, DSD, CMIS, and/or signs and tags Physical and Other Requirements - Function in a fast paced, retail, office environment - Periodic travel by car or airplane with overnight stays required - Hand/Finger dexterity - Sit for an extended period of time - Work extended hours - Rotating on call schedule PROC3232 --- **Primary Location: **US-TX-San Antonio **Work Locations: ** **Job: **Central Inventory Management **Organization: **H-E-B **Schedule: **Full-time **Job Type: **Standard **Job Posting: **Mar 12, 2018, 11:13:36 PM **Shift: **Variable Hours
