The Sr. Business Analyst role is to lead the support key Retail software applications. This includes plan, design, develop, and launch efficient business systems in support of core organizational functions and business processes. This includes gathering and analyzing data in support of business cases, proposed projects, and systems requirements. This role will lead the analysis efforts around any changes made to the core POS applications. The Sr. Business Analyst is responsible for business and systems analysis functions supporting our Merchandising and Retail Department.Essential Duties and Responsibilities·        Proficiency in Epicor POS, CRM, Sales Audit, LP systems a must·        Proficiency in backend retail system Architecture is a must·        Leverage proficiency with SQL, Excel and other data tools to drive for results·        Build reporting utilities, management reports, spreadsheet models and ad-hoc queries to support business analysis.·        Design and develop data preparation components and processes that extract and transform data across disparate database tables by creating aggregates tables for reporting and analytics. Ensuring integrity of analysis data by developing the requirement specifications and assisting the development and testing of data tables.·        Develop clear articulation of business-relevant analysis from data for all levels from executive to granular reports.·        Ensures solutions are scalable, repeatable, efficient and effective. ·        Willingness to dig-in and understand business process as it relates to IT systems·        Ability to leverage creative thinking and problem-solving skills an absolute must.·        Experience in a retail store environment·        Ability to build and manage to a project plan·        Understand complex system ecosystems and best practices and can apply this knowledge to their work.ScopeSupervises staff – NoFinancial Scope – N/AOrganizational Scope – All US locationsDecision Making – Creates policy and resolves problemsTravel – minimalRequirements :Job Qualifications – Education and ExperienceExperienced retail professionalShould have 5 to 7 years of experienceCollege diploma or university degree in the field of computer science or software engineering or Business or equivalent, any equivalent work experience is a plus.·        Will work under direct supervision and report to a manager and perform a variety of tasks.
