The IPMO intern participates and assists in managing administrative, technical, and financial aspects of assigned projects from project award to completion. Under the guidance and supervision of a Project Manager, will support in activities aimed to completion of projects in the defined timeline.
The IPMO Intern is a self-starter with attention to detail, drive to accomplish goals and focus on quality results. This person has strong communication skills, the ability to multitask and work with cross functional teams.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Provide assistance to ensure projects run on time and budget. Provide active role and use critical judgment in the development of all project deliverables. Ensure quality and timely submission of all project deliverables and documentation as assigned by the PM. Proactively communicate with experts and all other relevant stakeholders for each assigned project as directed by the PM.
• Attend meetings with relevant stakeholders as appropriate and directed.
• Maintain and regularly update Project folder in Microsoft Teams for each assigned project.
• Effectively communicate any issues related to assigned projects.
• Performs additional duties and projects as assigned. Consistent regular scheduled attendance is considered an essential function of this job.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree from a U.S. College or University and academically enrolled the semester after your internship.
• Required or Acceptable Job-Related Experience: Prior business experience preferred but not required.
• Desire to pursue a career in Project Management.
• Technical/Other Skills Required: Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office. Ability to manage own workload independently, multi-task and prioritize effectively.

• Summer Internship 2024
• Ability to work in Akron, OH as position is a hybrid work environment

The salary range for this opportunity is $18.00-$19.50/hour . Base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job related knowledge, skills and experience, among other factors.
