True Gault is a fast-growing affordable luxury shoe brand built on a foundation of patent pending technology. Our company uses 3D imaging technology to scan women’s feet and create handmade custom shoes that are made to fit. We recently launched an iPhone app with built-in scanning technology, allowing us to expand nationwide.

About the position:

The company is seeking Interns to work closely with True Gault’s Marketing and Creative team. Our ideal candidate is organized, self-motivated, entrepreneurial-minded and eager to get their hands dirty and gain hands-on experience.

Projects could include but are not limited to any of the following:

• Competitive Analysis
• Social Media
• Copywriting
• Fundraising / Venture Capital Outreach
• Customer Service
• Sales
• PR Planning
• Market & Grant Research
• Product Testing
• Event Planning
• Video Production
• Marketing Strategy
• Office & Inventory Management

These short-term projects will also be accompanied with standard day-to-day responsibilities such as inventory management, updating daily reports.

• Our ideal candidate is organized, self-motivated, entrepreneurial-minded and eager to gains hands-on experience.

• Able to work primarily independently in our NYC office for 10-20 hours a week (depending on availability). We operate between 8am-8pm M-F, so weekly hours must be during this timeframe.

• Must be currently enrolled in college or university. The ideal candidate is in their junior or senior year at 4-year college, but other class standings will be considered.

• Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite a plus, not required.

• Past experience with fashion industry is a plus

• Strong time management skills with the need for minimal supervision.

• Outstanding organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

• Comfortable with technology with proven skills with computers and software. Proficient with Microsoft office products and comfortable learning new tools. Good technical understanding and can pick up new tools quickly

• Works well with teams; pitches in to get the job completed

• Has a flair for style and follows the latest fashion trends.

• Authorized to work in the US

• Ability to communicate results to management and in a fast paced environment.

• Willingness to have fun, work in a startup environment, build a company, make a big impact and be rewarded for delivering results.
