As an Assistant Merchant Intern, assist the merchandising team in analyzing the business, learning to drive key pricing and marketing processes while providing operational support. Analyze the line of business you are working in by generating weekly reporting and reviewing + interpreting that reporting to determine what happened + why it happened. Learn all about pricing -- the strategy behind it and how to execute pricing in-store and online. Participate in marketing conversations -- ensuring we come across to the customer in a way that supports our product strategies, while learning how to execute sample turn in for photo shoots, advertising proofing and digital experience reviews. Actively engage in competitive shopping + recap your team -- analyzing trends, pricing + marketing in the marketplace from our key competitors
