    POSITION SUMMARY:

    Support the Leave of absence team with various clerical tasks to include sorting and distributing emails, faxes and mail.  Printing, folding and stuffing envelopes.  Completing basic phone calls to associates, supervisors and HRBP’s to verify leave of absence request information as necessary.  Attaching documents to cases within the leave management system.

     

    PRINCIPLE DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Print a high volume of multi-page documents for distribution via US Mail to associates.  Ensure letters are appropriately sorted and placed in proper envelopes.  Email copies upon request.
    • Manage high volume department email box, including faxes, ensuring inquiries and documents are sent to the appropriate leave coordinator.
    • Timely follow up of phone calls to associates, supervisors and HRBP’s to verify leave request information as necessary.
    • Review and update data in leave management system as directed by Leave Coordinators
    • Manage all tasks within assigned deadlines.
    • Convert files to PDF and attach to appropriate cases in leave management system.
    • Coordinate service and supplies for printer and team members upon request
    • Preserves confidentiality of associate medical documentation and files.
    • Performs all other duties as assigned or required.

     

    BASIC QUAILFICATIONS:

    • High School diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Experience with Microsoft applications including outlook, excel and word.
    • Experience working with manual distribution of a high volume of correspondence
    • Strong customer service skills both written and verbal (on phone)

     

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

     

    • Basic understanding of regulatory requirements and workplace safety principles.
    • Working knowledge of federal and state laws and regulations related to leave of absence management, including but not limited to FMLA, ADA disability benefits, workers’ compensation and return to work.

    • Ability to work under deadlines
    • Creative, self-directed, and able to work well in a team environment
    • Strong problem-solving skills
    • Effective communication, telephonic and organization skills, including strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Computer skills including but not limited to Microsoft Office, HRIS Software and leave of absence management software
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
