GENERAL FUNCTIONThe Oakley Internship Program is a summer (10-12 week) immersion into Oakley Engineering and Manufacturing operations. Our intern assignments are designed to allow you to experience, first-hand, the type of work we do at Oakley, by working side-by-side with our employees in the different functions. It is a project based internship where you will have the opportunity to contribute to business success by working on a priority business project. At the conclusion of the program, interns will present their learnings and contributions to the business through final presentations to colleagues and our leaders. We want interns who are enthusiastic about what they want to do for a living and excited to come in every day to learn and contribute. Your hobbies and interests can also play in your favor. We have a pump track, fitness classes, running groups and more on-site. MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES -Works on projects related to R&D, Engineering Development, Supply Chain, Quality or Manufacturing. -Asks questions, contributes to group meetings, and offers new ideas, insights, and fresh thinking. -Provides support to team members in various day-to-day activities. -Presents learning and contributions to the business through a final presentation at the end of the summer.
