About the Role:
Join Ace Hardware & Home Center as a Lumber & Delivery Sales Associate in Portales, NM! This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic team and help customers find the perfect products for their projects.
Responsibilities:
Assist customers in selecting lumber and building materials based on their needs
Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently
Coordinate delivery schedules and logistics for customer orders
Maintain inventory and ensure product displays are organized
Provide exceptional customer service and support
Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets
Stay updated on product knowledge and industry trends
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous sales or customer service experience preferred
Knowledge of lumber and building materials is a plus
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Basic math skills for handling transactions
Must be able to lift heavy items and stand for long periods
