The ideal candidate has experience combining typography, iconography, color, and texture to craft visually appealing designs that effectively communicate the Valassis Digital brand and engage our customers. Responsibilities * Work closely with our UX & Design team to visually conceptualize, refine, and implement consistent patterns across multiple products. * Explore typographic hierarchy, iconography, imagery, color, and texture to solve problems in elegant and beautiful ways. * Actively participate in team brainstorming and solution generation by collaborating with other Visual Designers, Interaction Designers, and UX Researchers. * Present and communicate ideas to fellow UX teammates, Product Managers, and Engineers. * Assist with solutions from ideation to completion while utilizing visual design skills. * Help to create Landing pages, Emails, Marketing Advertisements, and Event collateral. Qualifications * Online portfolio or work examples of your visual design thought process. * Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite. * Experience in presentation software such as PowerPoint. * Interest in responsive design, touch, and mobile interfaces. * Basic understanding of personas, user interviews, usability testing, prototyping and interaction design.
