    Job Description

    ROLE PURPOSE  

    As part of the Merkury Operations team, the  Merkury Tech Ops (Adops) Sr. Associate will be responsible for technical operations, troubleshooting, and support for Merkury, the people-based marketing platform. Working closely with a cross-functional product and operations teams, the incumbent will serve as the primary point of contact for audience delivery and facilitate day-to-day operations with internal and external partners.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Monitor audience delivery metrics and identify discrepancies or anomalies as needed
    • Conduct technical support calls with publishing partners
    • Proactively identify, troubleshoot, and solve technical issues
    • Assist in onboarding new partners into the Merkury platform
    • Understand, implement, and modify data file specifications
    • Oversee transfer of critical data using S3, FTP, SFTP, etc.
    • Identify, transform, and document manual tasks into custom/automated processes
    • Lead daily stand-ups and weekly calls with the product and operations teams
    • Identify new product features/capabilities; write feature requirements and acceptance criteria
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    QUALIFICATIONS – EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND EDUCATION REQUIRED SKILLS

    • Core understanding of ad operations, ad servers, DSPs, DMPs, social platforms, site analytics, tag managers, mobile app attribution partners, and their relationship to analytics
    • Experience with *nix systems
    • Core understanding of Excel spreadsheet manipulation (pivot tables, vlookups, etc)
    • Some experience with common manual tasks scripting (BASH, python, etc.) for text and file manipulation (Vim, Awk, regex)

    OPTIONAL SKILLS

    Experience with SQL and/or Snowflake

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor's Degree 
    • 0 - 2+ years of experience working directly with clients or partners
    • 0 - 2+ years of experience in digital media, particularly ad operations or equivalent
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Detail-oriented, organized, and successful multi-tasker
    • Experience with Agile development methodology
    • Experience with digital integrations across multiple technology vendors
    • Driven, motivated, self-starter who seeks out questions
    • Type S(tartup) personality: smart, ethical, friendly, hard-working, and proactive
