    Job Description

    This role manages deliverables or a team within a business portfolio or a corporate function. Provides day-to-day direction to subordinates based on general policies and subject matter expertise.  Interprets, designs, recommends and executes work for area of responsibility and anticipates their impact.  Provides sales support and client engagement role when needed.

    • Manages deliverables or a team within a business portfolio or a corporate function. • Participate in client facing meetings, collaborations and feedback discussions - develop and present to client groups. • Develop pricing estimates and scope definitions as needed • Develops/collaborates with staff to develop appropriate client/department goals and objectives. • Makes staffing/resource recommendations and manage the interview and hiring process. • Communicates and integrates company values, vision and direction for areas of responsibility • Defines achievable work group goals and establishes clear staff performance expectations. • Provides timely and balanced feedback to recognize accomplishments and address performance needs. • Recommends appropriate skills training to enhance career development and works with direct reports to create personal development plans. • Building versions of direct mail (InDesign) and email (Photoshop/HTML) campaigns • Front-end development/coding for email and display ads • Collaborating with various teams and artists. • Executing and finalizing Creative Design on Direct Mail and email campaigns. • Designing versions of direct mail (InDesign) and digital campaigns (Photoshop) • Routing and making edits of client and internal changes. • Pre-flighting and testing final production and deployable ready digital files. • Working with external and internal teams and releasing final files to deployment vendors/services or teams. • Self managing and prioritizing a heavy workload in a fast paced environment. • Collaborating with various teams and artists. • Staying current on trends and advancement in digital studio technologies will be key as we continue to push the boundaries for our clients. • Meeting and exceeding quality assurance and accuracy standards for all creative deliverables

    • Develops and administers schedules and performance requirements; may provide input to budget. • Frequent interface with external customers/operating partners to define needs and resolve issues. Develops key relationships with customers and operating partners. • Assists in the development and subsequent execution of new projects, policies and procedures to meet specified goals. • Develops and communicates understanding of the industry. • Receives assignments in the form of objectives and determines how to use resources to meet schedules and goals.

     

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor Degree in Graphic or Digital Design
    • Strong visual design and digital production execution expertise 
    • Knowledge of all the latest design/production tools, platforms, languages, and versions of applicable software programs - Adobe Creative Suite
    • Excellent communication skills; Ability to clearly express ideas both in verbal, written and graphic modes. 
    • Good project management skills: Organization/Prioritization, Time Management, Strong ability to prioritize tasks
    • Digital design and development 
    • MS Office proficiency including Word, Excel, PowerPoint

    EXPERIENCE:

    • 2-3+ years of relevant Agency experience with a strong portfolio of work showcasing creative design and production development of Direct Mail/Print material graphic production (letter kits, brochures & postcards) as well as Email necessary for this position
    • Understanding of branding and company identity - experience developing, following and enforcing Style Guidelines
    • Team Management Experience
     
    

    OTHER:

    • A combination of both Direct Mail/Print material graphic production (letter kits, brochures & postcards) & Email experience is preferred; Display/banner & web design and production skills a plus.
    • Ability to work in a deadline-driven environment, while keeping a good sense of humor.
    • Flexibility of approach and ability to accept constructive feedback and changes
    • Accustomed to adhering to and maintaining Creative Processes and best practices essential
    • A creative mind and detail oriented with proven creative decision-making and problem-solving skills
    • Must be able to multi-task, working on several campaigns simultaneously, sometimes under pressure and often with tight deadlines
