    Job Description This is an ideal opportunity for college juniors and seniors or anyone looking to gain exposure in an innovative, fast-paced marketing and advertising agency. This is a full-time, virtual, paid internship from June 7 to August 6. Employees from diverse or underrepresented backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

    As a Business Systems Analyst / Quality Assurance Intern, you will be a key liaison between clients and the Merkle Digital Experience team. In this role, you will learn how we work with clients to assess their needs; understand their marketing strategy, goals, and objectives; and transform the insights into documented client use cases. You will collaborate and support internal and external solutioning teams and contribute ideas for solutions that may be incorporated into digital marketing data and platforms, user experiences, and/or integration of various media channels.

    • Learn how to work with clients, third-party vendors, and multi-disciplinary teams within Merkle to support the solution as a member of a project delivery team
    • Engage and support with the Quality Assurance discipline to support definition and execution of a test plan, which will include internal testing and user acceptance testing
    • Participate in solution discovery sessions with client stakeholders and subject matter experts to elicit or confirm use cases and solution requirements
    • Synthesize complex and sometimes contradictory information into concise, readable, unambiguous written documentation
    • Provide input to Project Management regarding schedule, scope, risks, and cost tradeoffs

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Marketing Information Systems, Computer Information Systems, or related experience
    • Experience with technical writing or detailed requirement documentation a plus
    • Knowledge of web based CMS platforms like Adobe Experience Manager, Drupal and Sitecore
    • Ability to arrive at creative solutions that are not readily apparent and to turn unclear facts into logical patterns and concepts
    • Ability to understand and break down complex information into consumable portions; ability to decompose the abstract into details
    • Have a curiosity to constantly seek and learn new information from all reliable sources and, when applicable, disseminate it to others

    Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis. Employment-based visa sponsorship (including H-1B sponsorship) is not available for this position.
