    JOB PURPOSE:

    The Regional Manager is of great significance to NAPA Auto Parts. A person in this position is responsible for overseeing the general business management and planning for an assigned NAPA region. A regional manager collaborates with store managers and executives on recruiting strategic candidates to fill management, outside sales, counter sales, and delivery driver positions. They work with existing store teams to increase sales through outside sales calls, internal sales training of store staff, promoting company policies, procedures and programs. They will communicate company expectations and culture to new and existing team members.

    DUTIES:

    Oversee store managers and regional sales growth.

    Strategic, operational and business development planning.

    Plan, coordinate and implement employee development activities.

    Maintain efficient and effective operations at the regional and store level.

    Cost control and financial management.

    Guide recruitment, orientation and development of new store site managers.

    Participate in the Dyna Parts/NAPA Executive Planning Council.

    Coach, train and assist store management.

    Regional economic, demographic, and business research.

    Participate in community and professional activities where practical.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    Valid driver's license, required.

    GED, required. Bachelor's degree in Business or related field, preferred.

    5 years of management experience, preferred.

    Knowledge of the auto parts industry, preferred.

    Must exhibit effective verbal/written communication and leadership skill.

    Sound decision making capability.
