General Summary:
Oversee the general business management and planning for an assigned NAPA store, collaborating with the Regional Manager and Central Office personnel on recruiting strategic candidates to fill management, outside sales, counter sales, and delivery driver positions as needed. Manage company store operations to generate increased return on investment, improve market penetration, and provide superior customer service. Provide leadership to all personnel to encourage sales and profit growth through effective personnel and asset management. Actively participate in company-wide planning, store resource deployment, policy formulation and implementation efforts.

Education: A minimum of a high school diploma is required for this position and a college degree in business, accounting, or various social science fields is preferred. Any combination of education with management or supervisory experience in a business environment can meet the requirements.
Physical Work Environment and Lifting Requirements:
This position generally fulfills work requirements and interacts with others within the closed environment of an active retail setting where lighting, spacing, HVAC systems and other environmental factors are contained and generally controlled within the work environment. Exceptions do occur with respect to the exposure to outside environmental conditions where the person is called upon to travel about the region or state. External environmental exposure to outside elements may occur with respect to temporary work demands or tasks and as incidental and occasional with respect to the performance of duties and work assignments. Travel is commonly by personal or company vehicle for required meetings, store visits, work with clients and vendors, and for other requirements where environmental conditions are not controlled. Travel by personal or company vehicle and common carrier is associated with completing major and essential functions of Dyna Parts/ NAPA.
In terms of a normal workday, the position does not generally require lifting over 50 lbs. Generally, lifting is limited to containers, files, boxes, and supplies weighing less than 50 lbs. in which assorted parts and supplies, written materials, manuals and reports are kept. Some supplies and other materials may require lifting on to shelves or into storage areas. Those may weigh 50 or more pounds, but they need to be handled only on an occasional basis. Weights over 50 lbs. should be lifted with the assistance of another individual.
