JOB PURPOSE:
The Asset Control Manager is responsible for managing inventory and other NAPA assets through oversight of physical inventory counts and reconciling of discrepancies found. This position is a regional position that will often require travelling to different store locations using a NAPA provided vehicle. An Asset Control Manager will require self-motivation, attention to detail, extensive problem-solving skills, and accuracy.
DUTIES:
Build good relationships with NAPA customers and employees.
Oversee the execution of quarterly physical inventory counts at various locations.
Verify and analyze results of inventory reports.
Investigate and find solutions for inventory overages and shortages.
Train and oversee team of Store Inventory Auditors.
Coordinate with Store and Regional Managers to improve processes.
Performs special projects as directed by management.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Valid Driver’s License required.
Previous inventory experience preferred.
Excellent problem solving and investigatory skills.
Capable of operating TAMS point-of-sale system and cataloging.
Capable of recognizing and distinguishing letters and numbers.
Excellent attention to detail, accuracy and has a sense of urgency.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to stand and walk for entire work shift.
Capable of moving merchandise of up to 60 pounds.
Ability to move heavy equipment using moving aids.
Ability to speak clearly and listen attentively.
