    Job Description

    Berman Auto Group is growing and looking to add an Office Manager to the Corporate Office team!

    Office Location: 5757 W Touhy Ave. Niles, IL
    Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
    Pay: $70,000-$80,000 annually - BOE

    We are seeking an experienced Office Manager to oversee accounting and office operations for a multi-store automotive dealership. his is a hands-on role requiring full ownership of Licensing & Title (L&T), billing, payroll, and core accounting functions across two rooftops. The ideal candidate has deep dealership experience and can independently manage high-volume workflows with accuracy and accountability.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Independently manage all Licensing & Title (L&T) processes for two dealership locations
    • Oversee and execute deal billing and funding from start to finish
    • Work alongside Human Resources to process and manage payroll for dealership employees
    • Manage and support Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions
    • Ensure timely and accurate processing of deals, contracts, and documentation
    • Lead month-end close, including reconciliations and reporting for both stores
    • Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements, identifying discrepancies and ensuring accuracy
    • Monitor and manage sales tax, fees, and regulatory compliance across both locations
    • Maintain strong internal controls and ensure adherence to dealership and state requirements
    • Work closely with General Managers and Corporate Controller to ensure smooth operational flow

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Required: 3+ years of direct automotive dealership office management experience
    • Proven ability to independently handle L&T, billing, and payroll
    • Strong knowledge of dealership accounting, including AP/AR, deal posting, and financial reporting
    • Experience managing payroll processing
    • Experience managing month-end close and financial statement review
    • Familiarity with dealership management systems (DMS) Tekion, preferred.
    • Ability to manage responsibilities across multiple locations
    • Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills
    • Effective leadership and communication abilities
