The ideal individual is detail oriented, has outstanding communication skills, good knowledge and understanding of accounting, and a team oriented approach. Good computer skills such as knowledge of Excel, Outlook and Word are a must. QuickBooks accounting knowledge is a plus. Responsibilities and Duties: * Various entries into QuickBooks accounting software * Analysis and processing of AR/AP invoices * Preparation of Excel spreadsheets * Communicates via phone conversations, email, fax and letters with customers concerning status of AR payments. * Interfaces with Sales and Operations to resolve billing, collection and credit issues. * Provide AP support to internal & external customers * Verbal & written communication with vendors * Communicate with customers via phone and email * Organizes and maintains retention files for required period of time * Assists in financial management and analysis as requested * Extended detailed projects requiring accuracy and precision * Team environment with individual and team goals Basic Qualifications: * Minimum of Associates Degree in Accounting required or Two years exp. * Solid understanding of accounting principals * Demonstrated ability for accuracy, timeliness and thoroughness * Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks * High level of integrity About overstockArt.com: overstockArt.com is an e-commerce retailer of remarkable art and frames.
