WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?
Utilize advanced PL/SQL to support daily Maintenance of Business tasks
Collaborate with functional business leads and IT partners to provide a high level of customer service
Actively participate in all Agile ceremonies as part of the Scrum Team
Assist with monthly releases and deployments to the Prod environment
Work with project team to define and break down requirements
Create and maintain team level project documentation & wiki site
Create and maintain macro tech designs
Develop work schedules for the team / assign stories and plan schedule
Delegate tasks and achieve daily, weekly, and monthly goals
Work with team members, management, and product owner to ensure projects are completed to standard
Identify risks and form contingency plans as soon as possible
Analyze existing operations and schedule training sessions and meetings to discuss improvements
Stay Curious and Push Boundaries to keep up with current technology trends applicable to the team's applications
Perform troubleshooting as required across all environments (Prod & non-Prod)
Motivate team and create a space where they can ask questions and voice their concerns
Be transparent with the team about challenges, failures, and successes
WHAT WILL YOU NEED TO BRING?
Strong technical knowledge of development practices
Excellent understanding of computer software and programming
5+ years of experience as an application developer preferred
Retail Knowledge Preferred
Experience working on planning/forecasting on Retail Domain is a plus
Experience working on Kafka is a plus
GitLab and SVN knowledge
Experience in all phases of the software development life cycle, including analysis, design, unit test, system test, deployment, and production support.
Strong knowledge in the Agile Methodology and in Jira
Excellent communication skills, work ethic and the ability to work well individually as well as in a team environment.
Must possess understanding of business processes and ability to solve complex problems
Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication, reporting and presentation skills
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and leadership skills.
Capable of coordinating with various teams
Ability to understand and manage risks
Ability to work with cross-functional teams
