    Region The Americas Subregion North America Country-City USA-Boston Business Title Corporate Events Intern (Spring Part-Time Internship) PTC Org STR - Strategy Job Description for Advertising Purposes Corporate Events Intern This paid internship will provide a student the opportunity to apply their skills and knowledge in a fast-paced, corporate environment. This position reports directly to the Director of Corporate events and the Marketing Project Manager. Applicants should be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and interested in exploring a career in corporate events. The ideal candidate would be in their junior or senior year of college and willing to commit to at least 20 hours per week from February to Mid-June and Full Time from Mid-June to August. Responsibilities and Tasks: * Performs duties related to the major functional areas of Corporate Event Planning. * Performs administrative tasks associated with the event such as heavy customer service support, reporting analysis, presentation building, and light marketing support * Shows learning and both personal and professional growth and understanding of responsibilities. * Shows punctuality, professionalism, and a positive attitude when completing assignments. * Manages multiple deadlines. * Completes miscellaneous assignments as assigned. * Uses company software applications to complete assignments. * Maintains confidentiality. * Responds to internal and external customer inquiries. * Performs other related duties which may not be specifically listed in the position description, but which are within the general occupational series and responsibility level typically associated with the employee's class of work. Preferred Skills and Knowledge: * Excellent oral and written communication skills. * Excellent working knowledge of computers and company standard software; Internet research experience strongly preferred. * Ability to proofread documents for spelling, grammar and punctuation. * Ability to perform necessary mathematical computations. * Ability to exchange information clearly and concisely and to present ideas, report facts and other information. * Ability to establish work flows, manage multiple projects and meet necessary deadlines while maintaining composure during stressful situations occurring as a result of workloads and/or deadlines. * Ability to maintain confidentiality. * Able to devote time to work on-site at the event for designated hours from June 10 June 1 Preferred Experience: * With proper education credentials no experience necessary.
