Sales Associate Paradies Shops -Tampa International Airport - Tampa, FL 33607 Full-time, Part-time An Associate is responsible for daily execution of the Mission Statement, which includes providing First Class Service to both internal and external customers. The Associate may perform tasks on the sales floor or in a support environment. This position ensures a positive customer shopping experience in a well-maintained and friendly environment. Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesService * Exceed First Class Service standards and behavior with every customer, business partners and peers * Treat customers and peers in accordance with the core values of the company * Build customer loyalty and enhance selling skills through the use of available training materials * Process all point of sale transactions in a quick, efficient manner while complying with the companys Cash Handling and Loss Prevention Standard Operating Procedures * Represent Brand store standards * Achieve budgeted sales plans Operations * Achieve goals by adhering to company performance metrics and promotional programs * Assist with daily training, receiving, replenishment, pricing, and signing * Execute merchandising standards consistent with company guidelines * Maintain clean, well-organized work environment that is free of safety hazards * Prepare for and participate in inventories; perform high risk counts Other duties as assigned Job QualificationsEducation: * High school diploma or equivalency required Experience: * Minimum one year of retail or customer service experience preferred Other Knowledge, Skills, Abilities or Certifications: * Ability to work various shifts in a 7/365 team orientated environment * Must be available weekends and Holidays * Excellent customer service skills and an ability to communicate effectively using the English language * Self-starter able to prioritize and handle various tasks simultaneously * Ability to adapt to changing priorities and unexpected situations * Proficiency required in reading, writing, and mathematics * Ability to pass the Federal Criminal History Records Check, Paradies Background Check, and the applicable Department of Transportation requirements Physical Requirement * Standing for long periods of time and the ability to work in environments with varying temperatures * Ability to lift a minimum of 40 lbs., perform essential job functions such as standing, bending, reaching, climbing a ladder, and walking long distances Working Environment Indicate if normal office environment or if exposed to any hazards.
