** Summary:**

The Parts Counterperson provided exceptional service at the parts counter, assisting customers with inquiries, processing orders, and ensuring the seamless flow of parts to our service technicians. Your role will involve maintaining optimal inventory levels, collaborating with vendors, and staying informed about the latest automotive advancements.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide outstanding customer service by assisting customers at the parts counter, addressing inquiries, and offering expert advice on parts selection.
• Handle phone inquiries and provide information on parts availability, pricing, and compatibility.
• Efficiently and accurately process parts orders, ensuring timely delivery to customers and service technicians.
• Collaborate with vendors and maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing parts shipments.
• Monitor and maintain adequate levels of inventory to meet customer demand.
• Conduct regular stock checks, reconcile discrepancies, and update inventory records in the dealership's system.
• Utilize technical knowledge to assist customers and service technicians in identifying the correct parts for repairs and maintenance.
• Stay informed about new products and advancements in automotive parts to provide up-to-date information.
• Handle cash and process payments accurately, providing customers with receipts for transactions.
• Collaborate with the service and sales departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of parts orders.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in automotive dealership parts department.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and provide excellent assistance.
• Knowledge of automotive parts and their applications.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems and basic computer skills.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Must be authorized to work in the USA
• Must be willing to undergo pre-employment compliance requirements: Drug testing, background check, MVR.

** Preferred Qualifications:**

• Previous Honda experience

Additional Information

** Compensation (Hourly plus bonus):**

• ** $50,000 - $80,000 / year**

The Parts Counterperson Position has a Pay Scale consisting of the following elements and ranges. Wages include hourly pay rate of nineteen dollars an hour. The position may also pay commission compensation which is based on the value or amount of parts revenue department achieved from $0.00 (if no sales are made) without any upper limit other than sales performance. The position also may also pay a production bonus based on individual or team performance that may range from $0.00 (if baseline benchmarks are not met) without any fixed upper limit

** Schedule:**

• FULL TIME
• 5 days a week / 2 days off
• Sundays off
• Weekend availability required
• Parts Hours of Operation: 7:00am to 6:00pm (Monday thru Saturday)
